For insurers and private health insurers

Your cover assumes each person goes online alone. Many don’t anymore.

More and more older adults rely on a relative or a home-care worker to handle things online. Simeon makes that help safe and accountable: access limited to one task, revocable at any time, with every action on record. The people you cover can also check a suspicious message before they act.

Helping someone online has become routine. Nothing governs how it’s done.

To help, people share passwords, log in on each other’s phones, and approve payments for one another. It works until something goes wrong. Then no one can say who did what: not the person you cover, not their family, and not you.

The risk goes well beyond one payment

When someone else holds the keys to a person’s digital life, everything behind those keys is exposed.

  • Payments they’re talked into.

Scammers pose as a bank adviser or a relative in trouble and push the person to approve a transfer themselves. Requests for help with fake bank adviser scams rose 159% in France in 2025.

  • A stolen identity.

A hacked email account or a leaked ID document is enough to change bank details, take out credit or claim benefits in someone’s name. Account hacking is the second most common cyber threat reported by individuals in France.

  • Savings and assets.

Whoever helps online often ends up with access to financial accounts, savings, contracts, digital assets and investments portfolio, with no limit and no record. When money or an asset goes missing, no one can tell a mistake from abuse.

  • From the inbox to the front door.

Leaked personal details allow scammers to orchestrate elaborate, multi-stage plots that escalate into direct in-person threats—such as impersonating police officers at your door to convince you to hand over cash and jewelry for “safekeeping”. France’s Ministry of the Interior warns older people about this exact scheme.

Online risks and real-world risks now feed each other. Protection has to start online.

Simeon protects the help, not just the person

  • Help with clear limits. The person chooses who helps and with what. Access covers that task only, can be withdrawn at any time, and every action is recorded.
  • Check before acting. Unsure about an email, a text or a website? The person can ask the Simeon assistant, which explains whether it’s a scam, why, and what to do next.
  • Guidance for the whole family. Regular alerts and tips on the latest scams, including those that start online and end at the door, so the person and their helpers learn to spot them.
  • Data no one else can read. End-to-end encryption and a zero-knowledge architecture mean Simeon can’t read stored sensitive information.

Prevent losses instead of paying for them

  • Step in before the harm. Simeon works before the damage is done: when the person hesitates, and when someone acts on their behalf.
  • A record you can leverage. Who accessed what, when, and at whose request. Without that record, a claim or a fraud complaint has nothing to stand on.
  • More people using your online services. With guidance, and someone they trust to help, the people you cover can complete your online journeys themselves (claims, reimbursements, their customer area) instead of calling or giving up. Smoother journeys for them, less pressure on your customer service.
  • Less strain on family caregivers. The person they help is safer and more autonomous, the help becomes easier and is shared among up to six people instead of resting on one. That fits naturally with caregiver prevention programs, increasing efficiency and reducing mental load.
  • Prevention you can report on. Scam awareness and digital inclusion for older adults and their families: a concrete contribution to your prevention and ESG commitments.
  • Built to be trusted. An architecture designed for the most sensitive data, working toward ISO/IEC 27001 certification, Cyber Resilience Act (EU-CRA) and eIDAS 2.0 compliance.
